I am thrilled for those very few who can sell a home themselves. but what you might not know is  MOST as in 90% of houses listed end up  SOLD by a REALTOR. 

An example is like  representing yourself in court. , doing your own accounting  or doing the work yourself in a home renovation.. it always looks easier and reasonable until you start. often three times the cost , time and headaches!

Realtors® listings show  it was  Realtor ® was who sold the home . Very often Private sales do not show if a professional real estate agent  sold it or not  so  it appears  statistical claims cannot be verified.

What you many think is saving short t erm may end up paying more in legal fees.  Often many of the judicial proceedings are laypersons  in dispute with one another  attempting to do a legal transaction with out proper professional representation.
